Here is an instance in which I wish I hadn’t read the GameJolt synopsis first, because the gentle unveiling of CrossCode’s setting is paced masterfully. With all that preparatory noise out of the way, let’s dive in to the technicolor free-for-all that is CrossCode. Only my intense distaste for Steam’s Early Access system informs my suggestion to pick up the free demo.
